Dear Ms. Brown:
On behalf of the citizens of the great state of Indiana, let me extend my congratulations on the National Institute of Standards and Technology's 100th anniversary.
Since its inception, the NIST has been working to make the lives of all Americans better, safer and more productive. It has lead the way in the development and implementation of national standards for commerce, health care, information technology, manufacturing and much more. Without a doubt, the NIST has provided an invaluable service to all Americans.
So, as the NIST begins its second century of service, we thank you for your past efforts and accomplishments, while looking forward to you continued leadership and guidance over the next 100 years.
Sincerely,
